Scalp Trades Dated 22/2/2011

1. No trading for today. Still holding below stock. :(

MAXIS-CD - in 0.06 (T+1)

2. Not again !! Middle east seem to be giving a lots of pressure to our local bourse and regional market. :( Big up and a big down the next day. This kind of sentiment make punter happy or worrying ??

3. Today drop 12+ points & a black hammer is formed this time. Erasing yesterday gain completely. :( I would probably stay out tomorrow and cut loss on Maxis-cd. :(

4. Still pending most of my dividend payouts. Can't wait to get them into my account. :( This is my only consolation for now. hehehe. Till then happy trading and may the best price be yours. :)

5. GENSP result should be out today. Hope is a good one.

  8. ' I am placing a buy order at 6.30 but don't think can get it'

I think your order on Crlsberg at 6.30 should have match as the last outstanding 1.5lot is mine remaining order :) please double check your trade order. Be sure, with Carlsberg declaring much more than expected special dividend, you could stand a good chance to reap contra profit :D)

  12. Lofan,

I'm bit confuse on NCB, ever since its declare dividend of 30sen, stock is like on continue weakness in huge volume!? With current share at 3.75, NCB is trading at 8% yield.

I do agree with you, NCB afford to payout all profit as dividend and still stay net cash of RM1.80/share

  18. Hi guys,

How about Pantech ? Dropping quite a lot this few days. A good buy in now or good bye ?

I just wonder the way u guy are playing share. Buy today, sell 2 days later. Are u guy buying in big volume ? Are guy a professional player?
Kind of risky play for a novice like me.

About Pantech, you can opt for Pantech -LA which carry interest at 7% payable quarterly. Its currently trade at just 11 sen and have very small premium compared to its mother share (to convert, just surrender 6 pantech-LA to 1 pantech anytime within 7yr maturity.

  20. hng & lofan,

    congrat !! making a lot huh.. :)

hng - heard any development of rcecap's compliance issue with SKM ? any chance of resuming the loan borrowing to KOWAJA ?

So far there is no any new development on kowaja loan disbursement, but RCE director keep accumulating share in open market may send signal that issue will be eventually settle sooner or later.

I'm still opine that RCE is undervalue financial stock or at least by Q4 result, there won't be any significant financial impact and by then RCE is also due to declare final dividend. Nonetheless, for now until its Q4 result, I'll still opt for trading buy on RCE while waiting for kewaja issue iron out and awaiting final dividend.
