Bought more Amedia at 34.5sen.
ReplyDeleteAmedia still got loads of sellers... already more than total share outstanding, selling not over yet? Where got so much shares to sell if the directors are not selling...
ReplyDeleteGark
ReplyDeleteMaybe many speculators buy /sell many rounds?
But the selling batches is in 5 million shares, each at 0.345 and keeps repeating every 10-20 minutes or so... does not look like speculators...

ReplyDeleteIf major shareholder is selling through open market, there will be announcement make in bursa. So far, not at all.
I agreed, based on last 5 trading days, total share trade was 176.2m is more than its free float share of 134.5m.
However, if we take into account day trading, share trade could be done to half = 88.1m, but still significant sum against its free float share of 134.5 or 65.6% of outstanding share exchange
Remark:
Latest 5 day volume: 16.1m, 29.2m, 49.9m, 44m. 37m = 176.2m
Total share outstanding = 228m
Major shareholder stake 41% = 93.5m
Free float = 134.5m

ReplyDeleteThis is big speculators
I understand speculators can 'borrow' shares from 3rd parties,eg investment bank or nominee to sell aggresively, then buy back at lower price
I though short selling is not allowed? If borrow to sell is technically short sell...:)

ReplyDeleteI'm keen on Amedia largely due to its sustainable earning growth and its capability to command net profit margin above 40% as well as clean financial balance sheet. .
aiya share market banyak busuk.
ReplyDeleteI just heard from remisier some bugger short sell YTL-WR and now need to buy back at 0.25.
Macam ini pun boleh.
Gark
ReplyDeleteShort selling and borrow shares is slightly different. Short sell is I sell now even I do not have shares. Many investor keep their share with investment bank under nominee. Am not sure if it is an offence if investment 'loan' their share to 3rd party
Gark, Teng
ReplyDeleteShort selling is only allow for certain big cap stock. But, can not rule out there is speculator use other channel to play short selling.
However, those speculator must ultimately buyback to recoup back stake within certain period. If investor have power to hold on to the stock, those speculator will backfire themselves.
With impending corporate exercise like transfer listing, bonus and warrant, and upcoming financial result, Amedia certainly is investment-able graded stock
ck5354
ReplyDeleteYTL-WR already delisted, can't buy at 25sen through open market. But if those speculator can still deal with investment bank to normalize their short selling account by paid differentiate sum or outright penalty
hng, my remisier say is off market deal.
ReplyDeleteI am also not sure how true it is.
Based on Amedia exclusive business model, i think Amedia just fit into many related listed company like The star, Media Prima, or upcoming Astro, as it just not only complement their business, but also can enhance and expand their Adex market share
ReplyDeleteAmedia still trying to find its bottom
ReplyDeleteBought more Amedia again at 34sen
ReplyDelete23 cents is the IPO price.
ReplyDeleteTeng
ReplyDeleteIgnore short term volatility, if have holding power, opt for accumulation on weakness to average down holding cost. Patience is a key now, waiting period is by end of these year, or wait for corporate development to materialize: listing transfer, bonus and free warrant
ck5354
ReplyDeleteThe important thing is Amedia is high growth company, sustainable EPS growth render support to share price
Hng
ReplyDeleteI probably keep until it reach 40 cents, If it can;t reach 40cents,then hold for a while
Is it possible they fake their account and the audit committee find out???
ReplyDeleteck5354
ReplyDeleteIt is serious offense, board director could face legal action. Hope there is no such case happen in Amedia
Bought again Amedia at 32.5sen
ReplyDeleteBought more Amedia at 33sen
ReplyDeleteI think Amedia today volume will be the highest compared to last 5 days. The judgement day have finally arrive, the battle between the seller and buyer
ReplyDeleteHng
ReplyDeleteNow buyers beat seller. hope can > 35 today
Anyway dare not buy at 33 just now
Look like buyer win
ReplyDeleteck5354, Teng
ReplyDeleteHi seller, lets end the battle today.
Hng
