Stareit pay about 4 cents dividend last year. I think last year payout was higher because it sold some derivatives from disposal of Lot10 and Starhill to Spore associate. If Starreit can pay 4 cents this or next month,it is very attractive

  5. Anyone check on KASSETS FOR THE CASH DISTRIBUTION RM2.60 ?

  6. Hi all,

CCM under selling pressure, seem 95-96 sen is current support base.

    ReplyDelete
  7. WCT also under selling pressure, i think due to quick profit taking by warrant converter. The discount is getting much lower now

  8. Jeffrey8586

CCM volume much lower now, it remain to see whether it could hold the gain or back to square.

  9. GW plastic surge to it capital repayment level at 1.19 after it intend to maintain listing status. So, shareholder will not only entitle repayment of 1.19, but their shareholding also remain intact await new assets injection

  10. If YTL Power can stay above its MA50 level at 1.62, the upside trend potential will retain. Its next level will be MA100 at 1.68

  12. It look like WCT-WB is also under selling pressure as the discount is getting smaller now. If trade below 30sen, i'll consider to buyin some

I still prefer WCT-WB, its still trade at discount. But must caution not to over trade and must buy at lower price to get safety margin

according to this article in The Edge Financial Daily Starhill REIT’s latest proposed acquisition of three five-star hotels in Australia is expected to be earnings accretive and result in higher income distribution to unitholders. Three Marriott hotels in Australia for A$415 million The properties — managed by Marriott International, a leading hotel management and franchising company — are all freehold and situated within the commercial business districts of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The three hotels are valued at A$415 million combined, or about RM1.31 billion at the current exchange rate. Starhill REIT is working its balance sheet harder. As at end-March this year it only had RM180 million in borrowings and cash of RM145 million or net gearing of just 2%. The trust intends to fund the entire purchase with borrowings and existing cash. No new units will be issued. Thus, existing unitholders will get the full benefit of the additional net earnings.

We estimate net gearing will rise to about 44% upon completion of the exercise, below the maximum 50% for REITs. The deal is targeted for completion by end-2012. This means we should see at least six months’ earnings contribution from the new properties for the trust’s financial year ending June 2013 and full-year impact in FY14. Based on our forecast, income available for distribution will rise to 9.41 per unit for FY13 and 11.68 sen for FY14, compared with our original estimate of 6.9 sen per unit.

This translates into very attractive yields of 9.4% and 11.7% for the two years at the prevailing price of RM1, assuming 100% payout ratio — the highest among all locally listed REITs.

  20. chee heng,
I concur to you regarding the finding on Stareit. I think it is a good buy now looking at the potential net profit increase from the 3 new properties.

I am holding some @ 1.1. A little on the high side though :P.

Just started to join this blog and hope to able to learn from everyone here and of course HUAT together!!!

For all of you that interested to convert.

  29. ck5354

LTH currently is major support to WCT share price. Thus, converting warrant now still viable to make 30% based on warrant price or 5% based on total capital investment.

  35. With Kassest declare capital repayment of 2.60, IGB being the largest shareholder will entitle most of it. IGB will turn into cash rich company as much as net cash RM 1.00/share

  36. Both YTL power and WB turn better position now, if YTL Power can stay above MA50 of 1.62, it will resume uptrend.

    ReplyDelete
  37. H'ng,

Any idea what would be fair value for Amedia-W based on mother price of 20.5 sen.?

  38. YTLP seems good... i'm in @ 0.45.. thks for sharing :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jeffrey8568

I think Amedia-WA should be able to trade above 5sen

    ReplyDelete
  40. CK

If Amedia WA >5cents,then 21+21+5=47 cents is same price before ex bonus

    ReplyDelete
  41. yh

YTL Power manage to stay above MA50 and closed unchanged at 1.64. Very good sign it will resume uptrend next week. If share surge on news either privatize or divestment on local power plant, it will subject to re-rating, upside TP 1.80-2.00; and YTL Power-WB TP: 60-80sen.

Any good news on Acoustec? The volume looks very thin.

  45. Jason Lim

Acoustech is cash rich company, its net cash is 38sen/share, with estimate EPS at 6.5sen, PE 10x, Acoustech afford to payout most of its earning as dividend.

Normally, Acoustech will declare dividend in Feb together with its Q4 result, if Acostech maintain last year payout 5sen TE, the dividend yield is 8% nett
