ReplyDeleteKHSB falls sharply below takeover price of 76 sen
KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB) fell sharply below the takeover price of 76 sen made by Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB) on Feb 14.
At the close, it was down 13 sen to 53 sen. It was actively traded with 33.45 million shares done.
When compared with the offer price of 76 sen, the share price is down 30.2%.
The FBM KLCI was up 13.49 points or 0.83% to 1,637.63. Turnover improved to 1.01 billion shares valued at RM1.97bil. There were 394 gainers, 283 losers and 300 stocks unchanged
To recap, KDEB had on Feb 14 launched a takeover for a 56.57% stake in KHS for RM193.46mil or 76 sen a share.
KHSB had then said KDEB, its penultimate holding company, made the offer to its immediate holding company Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPSB), to acquire the shares.
After market close on Thursday, KPSB said the board had deliberated on the terms of the Offer and has decided to accept the offer, subject to KPSB and KDEB entering into a definitive share purchase agreement.
"The details of the terms and conditions of the share purchase agreement will be announced once the same has been executed between the transacting parties in due course," it said.
It's a positive response with immediate term no matter how you look at it. I believe KHSB shares price will be traded positively tomorrow. Good Luck to those that holding this. ^^
ReplyDeleteOnly scenario KHSB will not trade near 76 cents is KPSB withdraw offer to buy remaining shares from other shareholder.
ReplyDeleteTeng,
ReplyDeleteDid you make money from HAPSENG-CC ?

ReplyDeletePublic Invest Research has buy call on MKland,TP 80 cents based on 50% discount of RNAVRM1.56. gearing only 0.04 and MK stikk has 179 acres of land in Damansara Perdana
ReplyDeleteKHSB now should trade closer to its offer price
ReplyDeleteHng
ReplyDeleteNormally share price trade at 3-5% discount to offer price. In this case,KHSB should trade at 72 cents level
I will skip KHSB.
ReplyDeleteI want to queue at 62sen but opening already 65.
Good Luck to you hng. ^^
I think gradually KHSB will trade to at least no more 10% discount to offer price, about 68.5sen. The discount should be narrow once sign the S&P agreement.
ReplyDeleteDue yesterday selloff, KHSB is under profit taking pressure
ReplyDeleteif i keep my khsb i will fatt tat liao.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha
MKLAND look like got buying support
ReplyDeleteck5354
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a real panic selling, news spread that deal may call off, i believe it could be due to someone intention to push down the prices to lower then bought at even lower price.
I think it also make sense in TMS case, director exercise 10sen ESOS but sold off to push down share price aggressively, create share overhang and extraordinary liquidity. Later, TMS may slow accumulate at lower price
Hng,
ReplyDeletekamsia for your advice.
You have a good sense of financial.
ck5354
ReplyDeleteAs i previously highlight here its really no make sense to TMS share slump to this level.
TMS has cash 28m based on Q4 result (net cash 5.6sen/share), and with TMS 30% (140m share) ESOS exercise at 10sen, TMS cash hoard will raise to 42m. The enlarge share volume now is 790m with these additional ESOS 140m and 144m for Viewnet acquisition; net cash per share for TMS now is at 5.3sen/share.
Lets imagie, TMS current market capital is at 790m share x 6sen = RM47.4m only. If wan to privatize TMS, investor just need total net cash of RM5.4m only.
The new acquisition, viewnet will start contribute profit guarantee of 7.5m pa, these ensure profitability of TMS starting these year onwards. the 7.5 net profit implying 0.95sen EPS based on enlarge TMS share volume, give rise to PE of 6.3x.
If someone privatize TMS at 6sen level, with net capital outlay of just 5.4m (cost 47.7m - net cash in TMS 42m), it will realize 130% profit in just one year
still keeping my tms average 0.083,
ReplyDeletehave faith in your analysis.
