4. CARLSBG - Closed at RM12.48. ^^ Hope more to come. ^^
5. Traditionally, market will normally started with red on CNY. Today i see a different side of KLSE market. Hopefully, the momentum can be continued tomorrow. ^^

ReplyDeleteI have a question regarding the share swap between YTL corp with YTL Power. Various reports have mentioned about the potential share swap when the price between these two matches.
From the annual report of YTL Power, YTL owns about 51.4% of YTL Power which leaves about 48% of uncontrolled interest and this translates into about RM 5.5b worth of shares. In order to do a share swap, YTL corp will need to have similar amount equities ( share premium + treasury shares) available but the latest financial reports shows that YTL corp only have about RM3b of available equities.
Does the share swap still possible? I might be wrong with my understanding of the financial reports thus wish to learn from all of you.

Back to the YTLPOWR-WB, if YTLC issue a share swap now @1.56, isn't that it does not go well with existing WB holder assuming at cost of 0.38 with strike price of RM1.21?
