  2. Teng, Horse,
    Do you still have Glomac? Noticed that company has continuously been buying share back from open market. What could be the possible reasons besides being deemed undervalued?

  3. LG

    Sold all Glomac.

    Glomac has always been buying back its own share at least a year ago. Their current project in Puchong Lake received overwhelming response.You need luck ( by balloting) to buy a unit there

  4. I did a quick analysis on IGBCorp

    -Total cash-~RM2.1 bil
    -Total debt-~RM1.7bil
    Net cash is RM400 mil

    51% share in IGBReit=RM2.3bil ( 51%x3.4 billion share xRM1.35)

    Properties value at Midvalley(Hotels,offices)=RM859million

    Labu Land-RM142million ( last revalued at 2002)

    Australia property-RM121 mil

    Micasa hotel-RM173mil

    Total properties value-RM1.295

    RM2.3bil( Reits) +RM1.295bil( properties)+RM400mil cash=RM3.995bil

    Share issued-1.5 billion

    NTA based on above RM2.66

    Properties above is only top 10 properties by value listed by IGB's 2011 report.I know IGB now own 100% KL Renanssaince and Cititel in Penang.Also,share issued is less than 1.5 billions as IGB has 80 million treasury shares

    So good deal at current 2.27?

  29. FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI suffered several large single-day declines, owing to the weak sentiment and high sensitivity to this most pressing of political concerns.
    Retail investors are reluctant to participate in the local market for the time being as the risk-off mood among Malaysian retail investors prevails
    As compared to nine months ago, most of the funds have raised their cash allocation further, indicating the degree of uneasiness that these fund managers are experiencing over the election.
    As the risk aversion of Malaysian equity fund managers shows no signs of abating, cash levels is likely to remain relatively higher until there is clearer picture after GE13.
    Apart from hoarding cash, Malaysian equity funds which are allowed to invest in foreign equities have opted invest overseas, favouring neighboring Southeast Asia countries
    Fund managers who need to stay invested even through volatile times, seeking refuge in the defensive sectors such as telecommunications and utilities.
    Our advice to investors is to stick to the fund managers that they are comfortable with and to let these professionals deal with mitigating the downside risk.

  35. 我们的投资建议:

    1)如果你是作短期交易而且手上持有很多股票,我们建议卖出部分股票套现。如果美国股市反转往下掉,大马股市也会受影响;

    2)如果你是长期投资者,不妨先等美国股市调整下跌,及大马大选过后再进场;

    3)如果你还未进场,应耐心再等多三个月,当情况稳定了才进场;

    4)如果大选日期确定了,则应在投票日前先卖掉手头上的股票,避免任何选举的结果影响股市。
