Golden Agri & A Potential Counter

1. Nothing done as at today. :(

2. Just spotted a counter which currently is trading year low and it is worth taking in now at current price. Will be placing my order tomorrow, hope to get some of it tomorrow. At current price, it is definitely a strong buy in, chances are 90% will be making money. If i am able to buy it tomorrow, will be blogging the counter name here. Stay tune.

3. Golden Agri Resources News

UBS remains bullish on crude palm oil (CPO) prices on worse-than-expected soybean harvests and as the Chinese government increased its edible oil imports.

UBS said small plantations had outperformed others over recent months. However, larger plantation companies whose earnings had higher sensitivity to CPO prices, had started to perform well over the past two weeks, it said.

Golden Agri Resources Ltd, Sime Darby Bhd , and Salim Ivomas are the brokerage's top picks for Asia's plantations sector.

"Golden Agri has high earnings per share sensitivity to CPO price changes and its share price has high beta to CPO price as well. As CPO price continues its rally, we believe there will be increased interest in Golden Agri," UBS said.

"We also continue to like Salim Ivomas, given its outlook for robust earnings growth due to strong production potential from its large proportion of young and immature plantations and continuing deleveraging."

UBS also likes Sime Darby because of an improving outlook of its non-plantation business due to strong heavy equipment and auto sales, which it expects to boost overall earnings growth.

Golden Agri was down 1.3 percent at S$0.77. Sime Darby was flat at 9.75 ringgit, while Salim Ivomas gained 1.45 percent to 1400 rupiah.

Golden Agri

1. Dividend increase by 138%. :)

2. Revenue increase by 72% to US$4,813m but net profit drop by -11% due to higher fertiliser costs and export tax. What a contrast !!

3. Still keeping it.

Market Expected to Trade Lower

1. Looking at the current down trend market, this stop me for further buy in. :(

2. Of all the choice, REITs & Golden Agri still my preferred stock to invest. :)

3. I particularly like the month of Feb very much, as most of the REITs will be declaring DPU at this time. :)

4. Stocks in the region also traded broadly lower last week. The indices in Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong were down like around 2% :(

5. Sentiment on Bursa Malaysia is like playing catchup with the rest of the region. :(

6. It is wise to stay sideline for now.

7. However, it is a good buy for Golden Agri between 0.70 to 0.72.

Golden Agri

1. Today make a swap of QCAPITA to ARREIT. Judging the time table of QCAPITA the DPU will be declaring sometime Feb next year still a long way :(, the reason of swapping for ARREIT is because Arreit already declared its DPU and will be going to ex on 11/11. Hope the switch will provide me a faster stream of income and giving me more chance to earn more DPU. :)

2. Today, I have entered another batch of the counter that i mentioned the other day. As of now, i had enough of this counter after today purchase and would likely keeping it for longterm and waiting for it to bear fruit after this. :)
This counter is GOLDEN Agri (SGX). This does not represent a buy call from me. You can judge your own by basing the surging of CPO price recently.

3. Yesterday, i had a wonderful breakfast, it is called "Fish Mee" specially recommended by the shop owner. See picture attached above. see ya.......
