Highest Dividend Ever for Year 2007

This month is income tax month for everyone, due date for submission of your income tax is end of April. As usual i compiled my income tax like everyone do and did it almost last minute. I just filed my income tax through e-filling which i started doing so since last year, find it quite convenient. The biggest headache for me is to understand the re-gross thing on my dividends which i have been collected since the whole year of 2007, where the corporate rate for year 2008 has been reduced to 26%. To my surprise when i work out the calculation, the re-gross will in turn to our disadvantage. Last year indeed is my harvest year, i collected the highest dividend that i ever had and is all time high of my investment so far. The dividend collected over my principal investment is approximately about 8% to 9% which indeed is a good return compare to FD rate, this has not factor the appreciation of share price. Certainly will look for more if market permit for year 2008.

hi anonymous,
to be frank, i'm not going to sell PBB for whatever reason. i expect PBB going to have another good year run, take a look of it 1Qtr profit which give a whopping 51% increase, potentially with the generousity of the owner of PBB giving out high dividend lately (this few years) i expect another good div sometime in 2Qtr around July approx. 25%. Why slay a goose that lay golden eggs ??? In fact $7.5 is very good price u bought, just keeping it till the goose can't lay eggs anymore, then only decide whether to slay it or not. My average price for PBB is around $1.30 each after all div and bonuses received, 2 more years with consistent div payout, i'm practically getting all my capital back, so no hurry to act on this stock hastily. With average price of $1.30 comparing current price, my actual return stood about 800%...see what u get here!!! Thus, i don;t see a need for u to sell yr PBB which u gotten them at such a low price $7.5...keeping this kind of grow stock will definitely never fail you unless the purpose no longer exist....
