Last year Guiness declare RM 320 gross, but this yr delcare 140 tax exampt and 160 gross dividend. Net payout is higher

CI resistance is still at 900pts. If cannot breakthrough, likely to retreat soon. Trade with caution rather than bullish, avoid being entrap with current rally! Depend on oversea market and current trading pattern, buy on weakness and sell on strength

Guinness's dividend has been good all this while. My average price for this counter is about RM3 after keeping her for 5 years.

horse said...

agreed, buy on weakness and sell on strength. It has been a fruitful day for you, hng. Laughing all the way to Bank.

Sold off yesterday Guiness at 4.96-4.98 for contra gain. Raise more capital for next round of bargain hunting!

The rewards from investing do not come free. They are accompanied by risk. When good investment choice are made, that reward can be substantial. However the greater rewards usually go hand in hand with greater risks. As investor, we need to know how to manage risk by knowing stock value, while pursue higher return.

so fast on your Guinness? I tot she may have more room to run, TP =>RM5...anyway, it is good so long as it is a contra profit.

I still holding Guiness in my core portfolio for longterm dividend yield (Personal vs. margain account).

Market standstill awaiting for stimulus package and US general election. Lack of fresh lead is sign to take profit!

horse said...

wonder what stimulus package Najib offers? how much can it affect the market?
hng, still holding any hektar? looks interesting.

Anonymous said...

Don't too depend on stiumulus package as gov deficit is worsening on top of less conribution from Petronas (crude oil) and Felda and GLC (sime; bstead) (palmoil). Perhaps the stimulus may include interest cut; EPF cut; stamp duty cut; biodisel; foreign ownship incentive etc....Benefit target: Bank (interest income widen); property and REITS (borrowing cost)

I'm still hold hektar while waiting for income distribution. Hektar distribute dividend quarterly, Q3 is due to delcare its 3rd income, expect 2.4sen; full yr income is expected 11-12sen.

Bought more hektar at 93.5-94sen. Sold partially on keladi, Amfirst.

horse said...

i might considering buying hektar, will see how it fair tomorrow.

Hektar declare its earnning today, EPS=3sen, income = 2.4sen. If annualize 12sen, PE=7.9x, payout 95%= 11.4sen, yield: 12%

Contra on YNH property, sold off keladi. Market rally, but due for technical correction soon! Crude oil soar in response to Suadi real cut in production.

Contra on Sime. Will increase exposure on REITS sector to protect capital. Amfirst is also due to declare income within this week, it pay semi-quarterly. Expected EPS=2.2sen; income 4.4sen. If annualized= 8.8sen, PE=9x; 100% payout=8.8sen, yield= 11%

Sold partial PJ develp. As expected, market retreat fast! Profit taking cont....

not bad hng, noticed that you are quite cautious with your trades. Not easy being daytrader, i particularly can't do that myself. almost all of your trades are quite fruitful as far as the postings that you posted here is concerned...

to be frank, as for me, i'm getting ranging from 1.5% to 9% for my trades so far for this down swing, not very impressive right ?
hng's should be far more greater than this and frequency also does compound into the effect.

Daytrading does take margin into account. Evertime have set target to enter and exit plan. As long as there is positive return, i will do contra to realize profit, and avoid trap into volatile market!. Within a day/hour, stock can swing wildly, will buy only if there is momentum and margin of safety, if the expected bid fail, will definitely cut loss and protect capital.

Amfirst declare its earnning today, EPS=2.03sen, income = 4.27sen. If annualize 8.5sen, PE=9.3x, payout 100%= 8.5sen, yield: 10.8%
