jobless rate surged, worsening the economy condition, don't seem it create any good to the market. Market swing back to -ve zone, upside of the market still not seen in near future, likely to adopt hit n run method further till a clearer pic.

I'm agree with you, market rally but just can't any bargain oppurtunity in bluechip. Better don't get trap in this rally and avoid make mistake and reserve more capital until right time arrive for bottom fishing.

Today, just manage to buy Alaqa KPJ REITs at 86sen for its attractive dividend yield of 4.1 sen. This is perhaps last REITs stock that declare dividend for yr 2008.

wow, this is shocking news...

"The Malaysian Employers Federation believes that as many as 200,000 workers could be jobless in 2009 – the result of manufacturing plants shutting down operations or reducing their workforce in the face of limp demand.

The state likely to be hit badly will be Penang. Manufacturing makes up 43 per cent of its economy. The Malaysian Insider understands that the mini-budget could include a suspension of the service tax; a cut in the employers’ contribution to the EPF and Human Resource Development Fund."

Finally, Malaysia gov believe that country is facing real economy slowdown, or even facing recession due to serious cut in export. Hopefully, upcoming mini budget can mitigate some of these effect and don't just focus on political agenda, which often distract policy maker.
