Scalp Trades Dated 10/1/2012

1. Scalp traded the following today :-

2. Sold off BJTOTO-CH and UOADEV. :)

3. Tonight should be another good night for Dow Jones as DJ future rally. :)

4. Pomelo, you may want to refer on hng's trading records. See how he trades throughout the years. His averaging skill and especially superb picking of stocks. Concentrate on those high dividend and low PE stocks. You will never go very wrong. :) Good Luck !!

5. We will have another good day tomorrow. Good Luck. !!

6. Teng, call warrants not an easy game. Need a lot of monitoring time but is quite rewarding if you are not greedy. Not many people can do it, you got to be fast in action once you spot an opportunity. Unless you have the time else better go on mother stocks, just like what hng did. Follow his picks, think should be very very safe.

Thanks for your tips. I stopped 'investing' in call warrants for some time. Agreed it can be very rewarding but need time to monitor( and lot of homework). My most rewarding investment in CWs were PBB-CJ * bought around 38-40cts,sold 60cts-95cts.

Pomelo,

I don't like CIMB click. I used them to apply my IPO normally, as i don't like their platform. Hard to place my order in fast manner.

I get use to Excel Force platform. I can customise the screen to my like and can execute trade very fast as well. Many brokers use EF, PBB, Jupiter, MBB, HLIB, ECM & etc... Maybe you can consider changing to one of them.

CIMB Click has got this GTD feature. You can consider using this feature to place your order for buy or sell before hand. Once you determine to buy or sell, you can use it to place your order, by doing so, you stand an advantage to queue in front. Any seller or buyer, your orders will get matched first, so when you are certain, you can do so.

I'm planning to sign up with Jupiter :). Reckon I have to expedite.

I do use the GTD feature. But what my psychological problem is somehow I always hold back from placing sell order with gross profit of say just a tick. I think it's because I've the mentality of "let your winners run" ingrained deeply.

Go for the cheapest brokerage if can. Ask them to give you good rate. 0.0% to 0.01% is the best. Try ask see id they offer such rate. :)

"lets profit run" is everyone wish. Depend what you want. If scalping like me & hng, few bids we take profit and keep repeating them. Some stock are meant for longterm keeping and dividend earning. I am into both of this. I have stocks keeping for umpteen years, still holding now. The dividend is more or less cover my capital. I can opt keeping the stock for live.....

Scalping - yes. I have started reading articles and strategies...guess the practising takes time and knocks.
